Quinoa Value Chain Facilitators
Concern Worldwide, along with ACTED, Cesvi and Hivos are working on a project “Addressing Root Causes of Conflict in Lebanon: Social Protection and Economic Inclusion Programme for Vulnerable Populations”.
Concern Worldwide is implementing an Agriculture project in Akkar; a window of opportunities for small-scale farmers, aiming to increase their income by introducing different varieties of Quinoa, to measure how much this crop and its value chain could be successful in terms of feasibility and productivity.
Concern will support the primary production of quinoa through support for farmers on production techniques, standards training, post-production handling and processing through technical capacity building of small producers and processors.
Therefore, Concern livelihoods program invites applications from qualified individuals to work as facilitators with over the period of 6 months to implement the Quinoa value chain project.
Individual trainers preferably with strong training and agriculture background are needed.
All Applicants will be invited for 2-day Tots at local dairy cooperative.2 of all attendees will be selected on competitive basis.
