Amel Association International (Amel) is a Lebanese and non-sectarian NGO created in 1979. Amel works through 25centers, 6 mobile medical units, 2 mobile education units and 1 protection unit, and for 40 years has supported the poorest regions of Lebanon, from Beirut and its South Suburbs to Mount Lebanon, Bekaa and South Lebanon. Amel offers accessible services for all in the following fields: food security, health, education, protection, child protection, gender-based violence, livelihood, promotion and protection of human rights, rural development.

SIDC is implementing a project title “Mind the Gap" with the support of ACTED and funded by AFD and EU MADAD.
This project aims to increase awareness on mental disorders, psychosocial stressors, and the stigma experienced by vulnerable adolescents and youth to the adolescents and youth themselves, parents and the general public, and increase access to youth-friendly services, specifically in a mental health community-based center, Escale, in Sin el Fil.

Provide ER consultation and/or inpatient paediatric care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the paediatric and child/beneficiaries health conditions
