According to the partnership model, Plan International works closely with partners and provides technical oversight including tools, curricula, technical trainings. Plan also ensures appropriate monitoring, coaching and follow up with partners. One of the prioritized areas to be supported is Safeguarding and Preventing Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.

Plan International, in partnership with the local actor, Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) will implement a gender-aware integrated education, child protection, and basic assistance intervention. The goal of the project is to improve access to educational opportunities, and the psychosocial well-being of conflict-affected children in Damascus and Daraa governorates.

Scope of the project: Plan International Inc. Lebanon seeks to appoint hotel vendors with conference venues to provide conference facilities and related services.

In this respect, Plan is seeking to secure:
a) Meeting, conference, workshop arrangements for Plan staff and external partners with provision of basic materials
b) Catering facilities, for the events.
c) Accommodation with breakfast

To this aim, Plan International is looking to receive corporate rates for the provision of meeting facilities, as stated above and establish Long Term Agreements.

PIL is looking for an Advocacy/communications Consultant to co-facilitate a training on Gender and advocacy and media for social change and conduct coaching sessions for the group of GYW. The consultant will support in the preparation of the material for the regional workshop, attend the regional workshop and provide specific sessions on media for social change and then prepare the material needed and provide training and coaching sessions for the girls. The 5 trainings and 10 coaching sessions that will take place between October and February 2023 are to take place virtually (online).

Plan International Lebanon is seeking a Child Safeguarding and PSEA consultant to
1) Review and contextualize Plan’s Global Policies
2) Edit and update existing training package,
3) Develop IEC material and other related key documents and procedures to strengthen the implementation of the safeguarding and PSEA policies.
4) Develop partners safeguarding assessment tool and awareness package. This will help in building the capacity of Plan's and partners' staff, and ensure safeguarding and PSEA are mainstreamed in Plan’s programmes.

In terms of data management, Plan International Lebanon country office is currently relying on excel sheets to record the projects data and thus consolidating data manually upon request, using pivot tables to produce reports. In order to improve data management, reporting and visualization, PIL is invested in setting up Microsoft Power BI software. Therefore, this consultancy aims at recruiting an Information Management Specialist to guide the process, build the needed dashboards, and train the team on its use.

Conflict sensitivity and Do No Harm are core principles PIL applies in its overall approach and programming. In practice this means that in contexts characterized by conflict risk or on-going conflict, we work pro-actively and systematically to avoid contributing to violent conflict, and if possible contribute to peace. With the current rise in tension and conflict in the country coupled with the multiple crisis, Plan International Lebanon is looking in further developing its conflict sensitivity approaches and operationalizing it throughout its programmes and interventions.

The project entitled the provision of response to the Beirut Blast Emergency by improving psychosocial well-being and positive coping mechanisms for girls and boys aged 6-17 years who were affected by the explosion in August 2020, and support them through providing access to quality and safe education.
The project’s activities were implemented by partner Himaya, in several locations; for the focused-psychosocial support and awareness raising sessions, the implementation took place in Achrafieh-Rmeil, and Beshoura through live and remote modalities.

Lebanon is seeking an experienced Social Entrepreneurship Consultant with demonstrated knowledge and experience in Youth-led Entrepreneurship and MSMEs, Economic Empowerment, community led economic projects and livelihood projects for vulnerable young people. The consultant will provide technical support, focusing on entrepreneurship, adapting existing tools, developing programmatic guidelines, designing and delivering training package to MSMEs and youth..

Girls, boys and people with disabilities are often excluded from participation in their communities and are highly vulnerable to physical, emotional and sexual abuse as well as neglect.
Frontline workers and programs staff of national and international NGOs and community structures are potentially the enabling factor to fight stigma and promote inclusion in communities. However, the inclusion of children and people with disability in regular activities and programming is considered to be a challenge for NGOs;
