The purpose of this position is to set the NEF enterprise development and employment (EDE) strategies, lead the enterprise development and employment unit, oversee the unit’s workplan and activities, support in developing relevant trainings materials and curriculums, and oversee the work of the team and consultants.

The Near East Foundation (NEF) is seeking candidates for a Procurement and Logistics Assistant to be based in its ‎Lebanon office in Beirut. The Procurement and Logistics Assistant has responsibility to provide support to NEF Lebanon, by implementing requested procurement and logistical activities according to NEF policies and procedures and with compliance with the donors’ rules and regulations.

The Protection Officer has the responsibility to ensure Gender and Protection mainstreaming in all activities under NEF Lebanon’s livelihoods projects, to coordinate the implementation of protection-based livelihoods activities and to ensure that MHPSS activities are delivered. Project activities aim to reduce household economic vulnerability and reliance on harmful coping strategies by increasing access to livelihoods combined with MHPSS services to help participants manage psychosocial distress and develop positive coping strategies.

The Near East Foundation (NEF) is seeking candidates for a Climate Resilience Officer to be based in its ‎Lebanon office in Beirut. For 100 years, NEF has worked to build more sustainable, prosperous and ‎inclusive communities in the Middle East and Africa through education, governance, and economic ‎development initiatives. Working through a network of country offices and local partners, NEF ‎currently operates in ten countries. Its programs are organized around three themes: Peacebuilding; Sustainable ‎Agriculture; and Micro- enterprise Development.‎

The Near East Foundation (NEF) is offering a volunteering opportunity through its Badaro Office. Volunteers will start on or about September 27, 2022 and run through November 30, 2022.
