The Country Director leads and manages a team of field professionals to ensure Mercy Corps is implementing high quality, impactful programming with the necessary management and support structures to sustain response programs at scale. The role also includes ensuring appropriate systems and support mechanisms are in place to track, analyze and report on results as well as setting the strategic direction of the overall response.

The Senior Project Officer will support the Project Manager in ensuring smooth implementation of Basatine program and operations’ activities in Bekaa under Specific Objective 3: “Agriculture sector actors engage in improved market activities, resources, and trade relationships”. Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, he/she will work with the program team and Consortium partners to achieve key deliverables and ensure that all activities are adequately achieved on time and within budget.

Working closely with the Director of Programs, the Humanitarian Project Manager is responsible for implementing and coordinating Mercy Corps’ emergency response programming in South Lebanon. S/he will forge partnerships with a range of relevant county government departments, private sector actors, community members and other key stakeholders to ensure Mercy Corps’ activities remain coordinated and responsive to needs.

The Business Development Intern will work under the FORSA III project. FORSA III (Fostering Resilience by Strengthening Abilities III) program is a 1.3 million Euros one-and-a-half-year (Jun 2023 - Dec 2024) program focusing on strengthening employment pathways within the digital economy. The program aims to facilitate access to employment through a holistic and integrated approach that builds the skills of young people aiming to increase their work readiness while strengthening the capacities of the private sector to absorb and retain the skilled workforce.

General Position Summary
The monitoring, evaluation, accountability, research and learning (MEAL) Unit Manager role is to lead program, performance and quality (PAQ) by providing significant programmatic quality support and enabling evidence systems to Mercy Corps Lebanon Programs; leading on Monitoring, Evaluation; Research and Learning (MERL) activities for the organization, ensure Accountability systems are in place and provide strong, consolidated support across the Program Department to ensure the development of efficient and effective program management processes.

This position will be under the Program Performance and Quality (PaQ) unit, and will take on the responsibilities of supporting Mercy Corps’ Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) activities across all programmatic areas.
