The Project Medical Referent Assistant assists and supports the Project Medical Referent (PMR) in the implementation of the overall medical content, activity and resources in the project, by assuming some tasks delegated by him/her and giving personal assistance in other specific activities, in order to facilitate the proper medical management of the project and medical follow-up of the staff in the project.

Assist and support the Medical Coordinator in the implementation of the overall medical content, activity and resources in the missions, by assuming some tasks delegated by him/her and giving personal assistance in other specific activities, in order to facilitate the proper medical management of the projects and medical follow-up of the staff in the mission.

To provide an accurate, timely, and qualitative dispensing service of drugs according to medical prescriptions and MSF protocols, standards and procedures in order to improve the patient’s health conditions.

Ensure completion of all activities related to medical data entry and data management into the mission database. Supervise, organize and plan the activity of Data Entry officers/operators, as well as identify their training needs in order to provide a good service support and reliability of the data collected.

Execute administrative tasks and do follow up of project accountancy, according to administration manager’s indications and MSF procedures, in order to ensure legal compliance and keep a strict control over monetary resources

In close collaboration with the Project Medical Referent supervising the implementation of patient support activities according to MSF protocols, standards and procedures in order to empower the patient in front of his illness and treatment, beyond the purely medical aspects of care
