The Center for Research and Education in the Ecology of War (CREEW) 2025 mentored fellowship, at the Global Health Institute at the American University of Beirut, adopts an online learning modality to train practitioners working in conflict-affected settings to conduct research on Preparedness for Climate Change Impact on Health in Conflict Settings. CREEW is a 12 month program that consists of three phases: Didactic Phase, Field-based Mentored Research Phase, and Research Dissemination Phase.

This is a call for applications for the project “Empowering Civil Society and Youth for an Inclusive Digital Transformation”. This project is funded by the European Union and is implemented in a partnership with Acted, the Non-Governmental Organizations Initiative at the American University of Beirut (AUB NGOi), DOT Lebanon, and ESA Business School.

يطلق برنامج التحالف العربي لتنمية منظمات المجتمع المدني(AACSOD – أقصد) دورته الأولى من التعزيز والتطوير المؤسساتي وبناء القدرات والتي سيتم من خلالها اختيار ١٥ منظمة أهلية للاستفادة من خدمات البرنامج على مدى ١٢– ١٨ شهر.

AACSOD is launching its first cycle of institutional strengthening and capacity building through which 15 CSOs will be selected to benefit from the program’s services over a period of 12-18 months.

The Global Health Change Makers is a pitch competition organized by the Global Health Institute (GHI) at the American University of Beirut (AUB), in celebration of the Institute’s 5th year anniversary. The competition aims to provide a platform for individuals enrolled in universities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to present project ideas related to Global Health & the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a 5-minute pitch for a chance to win seed funding.
