Dar Al Amal is seeking an M&E consultant for the project “Hope Behind Barriers: Strengthening Women's Rights and Rehabilitation” funded by UNWPHF. The project is gender-oriented striving to improve the overall well-being of detainees and support prison personnel in managing the complex dynamics within these facilities during this tumultuous period. The project aims as well at enhancing capacity-building for incarcerated women in Baabda, Tripoli and Zahle prisons, documenting the violations, and developing code of ethics and mechanism for managing HIV and other stigmatized conditions.

Dar Al Amal is committed to promoting gender equality and safeguarding the rights of individuals, particularly women and girls, who are affected by Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Under the project “Promoting the Human Rights of vulnerable women through social rehabilitation and reintegration project, addressed to all imprisoned and released women in three women prisons in Lebanon” funded by Diakonia, and to enhance its efforts, Dar Al Amal seeks to develop a comprehensive GBV Policy to ensure clear guidelines for intervention, prevention, and support mechanisms.

Dar Al Amal – Space of Hope is a Lebanese non-governmental organization that was established in 1970, under the decree no. 9176 and the notification no. 122. Under the project “Promoting the Human Rights of vulnerable women through social rehabilitation and reintegration project, addressed to all imprisoned and released women in three women prisons in Lebanon” funded by Diakonia, DAA is seeking to hire a fund-raising expert to develop a comprehensive and sustainable fund-raising strategy helping to secure the necessary resources for achieving our objectives.

Environmental preservation is a critical global priority, as the impacts of environmental degradation affect biodiversity, ecosystems, and human livelihoods. Raising awareness about the importance of protecting the environment is essential to fostering sustainable practices within communities. To support this effort, an expert consultant is needed to develop a comprehensive manual designed to guide the facilitation of awareness sessions on environmental preservation.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is a critical issue in Lebanon, particularly in the context of custody laws that disproportionately affect women and children. The awareness of the links between GBV and custody laws is limited, especially among youth. Dar Al Amal, within She Leads program aims to address this gap by creating a manual to train youth on how to conduct awareness sessions addressed to youth about this important issue. The goal is to equip youth with the knowledge and tools to educate their peers and communities about the intersection of GBV and custody laws in Lebanon.

Within the framework of the Diakonia project “Promoting the Human Rights of vulnerable women through social rehabilitation and reintegration project, addressed to all imprisoned and released women in three women prisons in Lebanon” 2024, DAA seeks an expert to conduct a qualitative assessment to assess the situation of the females’ prisoners and prisons, during the multifaced crisis that hit Lebanon since 2019.

Dar AL Amal is seeking a GBV expert for the project “Promoting the Human Rights of vulnerable women through social rehabilitation and reintegration project, addressed to all imprisoned and released women in three women prisons in Lebanon” funded by Diakonia. Women prisoners are among the most vulnerable groups in Lebanon, and are more likely to suffer from poverty and unmet needs. One of the project components, is to collaborate with the ISF to ensure that the rights of imprisoned women are met, through capacity building and training sessions.
