The self-defense trainer will deliver a 10-session module to a maximum capacity of 10 COA members where they will acquire higher knowledge and skills on proper and better self-defense methods from a theoretical perspective to a practical one. The training will be of use in the long term where trainees will be able to assess on the spot safety risks and react accordingly. The trainer will also be responsible for instructing a well-tailored curriculum that adheres to international standards, which can be used as reference material by the CoA members and beyond. The total number of participants will be up to 20 members of the COA. The sessions, delivered by the instructor, will be conducted from the date of recruitment till the end of December 2023. The instructor is expected to draft and share the mindfulness sessions agenda with broad bullet points prior to the start of the sessions for review by relevant personnel at CLDH and a final report after conducting the training. The working period, including preparation, delivery and final report summary of the workshop to be delivered by end of December 2023.

The training will be delivered over 3 days throughout the last week of September 2023 (TBD) for a group of 10 individuals, 1 member/ focal point per grassroot organizations/ initiatives. The training material will be provided by CLDH where the consultant/trainer will use to deliver the training. The consultant is expected to draft a pre and post-test survey that will be submitted to the relevant personnel at CLDH along with a final report after conducting the training. The working period, including preparation, training delivery and final report of the training, is estimated to be 5 days.

The Project Strategist will be responsible for the advocacy aspects of the project, collaborating with CLDH’s Communications Department, researchers, and other relevant team members.

The Media Outlets Monitor Consultant directly reports to the Communications and Advocacy Coordinator.
The Media Outlets Monitor Consultant is supposed to maintain a watchful eye on media channels and social media platforms to identify possible episodes of Human Rights Violations, report on the latter, coordinate the monitoring process with the Communications and Advocacy team, coordinate with CLDH’s fact-checker to ensure the transparency and accuracy of the news reported, evaluate the outcomes.

The Trainer Consultant directly reports to the Communications & Advocacy Coordinator.
The Consultancy is intended to last for a duration of 4 months. Extension may be considered based on the availability of funds and performance.
The Trainer Consultant will prepare material and tools, deliver training sessions, report on the latter, and evaluate the outcomes. They will be responsible on developing the manual that will be used at CLDH and other organizations and activists to monitor, document, and report human rights violations in Lebanon.

The safety and security trainer will deliver 1 -day -training to the COA members in which they will acquire higher knowledge and skills on digital security and digital rights from a broad perspective to narrowed one. The training will be of use in the long term where trainees will be able to know their digital rights and assess digital security according to the context. This process will be supported by the Free to Be Me Team.

The purpose of the grant making is to create a mechanism to support LGBTQI+ grassroot organizations/ initiatives of the Community of Actions (CoA), that are working on different mandates at local level. The Panel will help sustain and enhance access to resources to support the LGBTIQ+ movement by providing financial and non-financial resources for LGBTQI+ organizations/initiatives.

Under the supervision of the advocacy and communication coordinator and the Programs Manager, The Factchecker will be responsible for fact checking cases, compiling and analyzing data and sharing with relevant departments, and develop the case monitoring framework of CLDH.

The Project Objective is to “promote human rights culture in Lebanon and enable victims of human rights violations to become actively engaged in policy reform and public awareness raising” will specifically contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 16.3 of United Nations (UN) to “promote the rule of law at the national and international levels and ensure equal access to justice for all”.
