• The Librarian is responsible for the overall management of the Beirut Municipal Public Library in Monnot.
• They report directly to the Libraries Coordinator and work closely with the Executive Coordinator, librarians, Kotobus animators, Activities Coordinator, Project Managers, Communication Officer, and the Assabil office team.
• This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, distributed over six working days.

The ASSABIL Association, as part of its initiative "بالفنون والرياضة نلتقي ونرتقي," aims to enhance mental health, social cohesion, and intercultural dialogue through artistic and sports activities across Lebanon. This project will be implemented as part of the Field Support Services Project for the Middle East, executed by Cowater International , and funded by Global Affairs Canada .
The M&E Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective monitoring and evaluation of project activities, outcomes, and impacts in alignment with the project goals.

The intern will be responsible for identifying and documenting lessons learned and good practices arising from the pilot phase of capitalization deliverables. This includes analyzing project outcomes, capturing insights, and providing recommendations for future improvements in the following areas: Beirut, Tripoli & Tannourine.

Objective:
The objective of this TOR is to outline the responsibilities and scope of work for the Contractor in supporting the Edutainment Program at Assabil Association. The program aims to promote child rights and positive behaviors, focusing on Covid-19 awareness, child immunization, and overall child health.

Project Description: The library, integrated into education models, plays a vital role in disseminating knowledge, education, and literacy within the community. It is actively involved in structuring educational manuals and courses that facilitate language learning through library resources.
General Purpose of the Position: Teachers will conduct language sessions (two days per week, two hours per day) in one assigned language (Arabic, English, or French) to enhance language skills for third-grade students using the Assabil story-based language-teaching toolkit. The project, funded by Secours Catholique – Caritas France (SCCF), aims to develop and implement an innovative and transferable model for strengthening local solidarity actors in a complex crisis context. This objective will be pursued through the support of six Lebanese organizations in the pursuit and consolidation of their respective actions in favour of education and youth. This support will lead to the implementation and testing of a multi-actor cooperation framework.

The Communications & Social Media Officer will lead, in coordination with the Executive Coordinator and the other staff members, Assabil’s online presence, media coverage, social media outreach, & audience engagement through the organization’s online platforms: Website, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
