LAU’s Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World (IWSAW) is currently searching for a Strategic Planning Expert to support in the creation of the Human Rights Network within the context of the project “Coordination and Support for the Human Rights Issue Network.” This project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the purpose of supporting and promoting “issue networks” of Civil Society Organizations, around several advocacy issues such as enhancing leadership skills of women and adolescent girls through economic empowerment and capacity building.

LAU’s Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World (IWSAW) is currently searching for a Legal Analyst to support in the creation of the Human Rights Network within the context of the project “Coordination and Support for the Human Rights Issue Network.”

This project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the purpose of supporting and promoting “issue networks” of Civil Society Organizations, around several advocacy issues such as enhancing leadership skills of women and adolescent girls through economic empowerment and capacity building.

Equality 4 Everyone: Gender Reform from Grassroots to Government is a project implemented by IWSAW. The project aims to convene a selected group of CSOS across Lebanon to train them to become community-based leaders. Moreover, IWSAW aims to empower youth and university students to become interested in pursuing positions of leaderships and advocate for gender equality. For these reasons, IWSAW will develop a number of technical workshops to provide the CSOs and the participating students with fundamental knowledge and to enable them to understand and subsequently engage in the political process
