Dashboard Developer (Data Visualization Specialist)

About the Role:

As a Dashboard Developer, your main responsibility will be to create an engaging and user-friendly platform that visually presents the data collected from the study. You will work closely with the research and data teams to ensure accurate data integration and create visual tools (graphs, charts, infographics) that help stakeholders quickly grasp the insights of our research. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled developer with a passion for data visualization, web development, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop an interactive, web-based dashboard to display study results and data visualizations.
• Build real-time visualizations, such as graphs, charts, and infographics, that represent key metrics.
• Ensure the platform is scalable, user-friendly, and optimized for accessibility and performance.
• Collaborate with the data analysis team to understand and display the most relevant insights.
• Regularly update the dashboard with new data and adjust visualizations as the project progresses.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant privacy and data protection regulations.
• Provide documentation and user guides for stakeholders to interact with the dashboard.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in dashboard development using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar web-based platforms.
• Strong proficiency in front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, D3.js).
• Familiarity with database integration (SQL, NoSQL) and API development.
• Ability to create aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-understand data visualizations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with socio-economic research data or similar fields is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in UX/UI design for data dashboards.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure for hosting dashboards.
• Familiarity with data privacy laws, especially regarding research studies and personal data.
