Media Expert-Consultant

Under this project, Search will be supporting the production of a series of videos (8 to 10 videos) in a participatory approach with insider mediators. The Media Expert/consultant will perform the following tasks:

Consultation and Idea Development:

• 1.Revise the submitted video proposals submitted by the Insider Mediators (IMs).

2.Conduct brainstorming sessions with the IMs to refine the video ideas.

3.Provide creative input and suggest innovative concepts for social media content.

Pre-Production Supervision:

1.Liaise between the IMs and the Youth mediators who will carry out the production of the videos.

2.Support the youth to develop scripts, storyboards, and production plans for the approved video ideas.

3.Support the youth to identify necessary resources and equipment required for production.

Production Supervision:

1.Oversee and provide technical and creative support during the filming process.

2.Post-Production Supervision:

3.Oversee and provide technical and creative support during the editing process, including video cutting, adding effects, and incorporating music or voice-overs.

4.Ensure final videos are aligned with the project's goals and are suitable for social media platforms.

The expert/consultant should have the following expertise and qualifications:

1.Proven experience and proficiency in media and communication

2.Significant professional experience working with Arabic and English speaking participants

3.Excellent training and facilitation skills (in-person and online trainings)

4.Experience in working in the MENA region and specifically in Lebanon.

5.Proven experience in media production, especially for social media platforms.

6.Strong creative and storytelling skills.

7.Demonstrated ability to supervise video production from concept to final product.

8.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
