MEAL Consultant

Scope of work:

Assessment of existing MEAL policies & procedures

Development/enhancement and streamlining of customized feminist MEAL policies & procedures that are in line with international best practices.

Identification, classification, and enhancement of the MEAL tools adopted by Marsa in different programs

Training Marsa staff on MEAL in the frame of project cycle management/ theory of change

Coaching the staff on the newly developed MEAL policies and procedures

Conduct one-to-one follow-ups with project staff and share recommendations and best practices for their roles.

Other tasks as identified are needed in the assessment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in information management, statistics, social sciences or a related field

Minimum of five years’ experience in MEAL in non-profit sectors

Strong knowledge in quantitative and qualitative data collection, collection, analysis and management

Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate MEAL practices with project requirements

A high level of organisational skills and an ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail

Strong experience using MEAL tools and processes such as outcome harvesting
