MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Activities

.Plan and prepare lessons and topics to be given to the class on a daily and a weekly basis

.Coordinate with teachers of the same level concerning the daily and weekly plans

.Report the plans to the Social Worker,HOC and the project coordinator

.Deliver the material of the plan on a daily basis to the children

.Maintain class order and organization

.Document children’s attendance

.Report the progress of the children through assessments on a timely basis

.Fill the pre-tests and post-tests assigned by MEHE with the children

.Ensure the safety of the children while being in class

.Submit monthly timesheets to the HOC

.Participate in all relevant meetings and capacity-building programs

.Understand and comply with the Child Protection and ECE Policy

.Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care

.Daily Observation for the children

.Conducting Quiz’s with the children

Qualifications and Requirements:

.Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

.Relevant experience working with young children in a childcare setting.

.Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.

.Strong communication and personal skills.
