The Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM) with the funding from the Polish Aid under project DWR/PP 2024/067/3 is in the process of implementing a development project in Lebanon.
The aim of the project is to strengthen local communities exposed to the effects of the economic crisis in Lebanon by supporting local governments and other local institutions in providing sustainable public services. The activities are implemented in cooperation with municipalities and the Lebanese civil defense.

The Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM) is a Polish NGO based in Poland, dedicated to providing humanitarian aid and development assistance worldwide. PCPM focuses on a range of areas including emergency response, medical aid, and infrastructure development. In Lebanon, PCPM has been actively involved in addressing the needs of vulnerable communities while focusing on Humanitarian and Development aid in addition to Disaster Risk Reduction.
المنظمة البولندية للمساعدات الدولية هي منظمة غير حكومية بولندية مقرها في بولندا، تهدف لتقديم المساعدات الإنسانية والمساعدة التنموية في جميع أنحاء العالم. تركز PCPM في عملها على مجموعة من المجالات بما في ذلك الاستجابة لحالات الطوارئ، والمساعدات الطبية، وتطوير البنية التحتية. في لبنان، تشارك بأنشطة ومشاريع تلبي احتياجات المجتمعات الهشّة مع التركيز على المساعدات الإنسانية والتنموية بالإضافة إلى الحد من مخاطر الكوارث.
Funded by the Polish Aid, PCPM is implementing a 3 years project in Lebanon with a focus on Akkar to support the local communities to face the economic crises and support local authorities to maintain their public services. Under this project PCPM is undertaking various activities such as solarization, WASH activities, road safety, disaster risk management. As part of this endeavour, PCPM has decided to carry out a bidding process for selection of a contractor to clean the river of Al-Oustwan in Akkar to prevent the yearly flooding affecting the livelihood of the inhabitants of more than 9 villages.
بتمويل من المعونة البولندية ، تنفذ مشروعًا مدته 3 سنوات في لبنان مع التركيز على منطقة عكار، لدعم المجتمعات المحلية في مواجهة الأزمة الاقتصادية ودعم السلطات المحلية للحفاظ على خدماتها العامة. وفي إطار هذا المشروع، تقوم بأنشطة مختلفة مثل مشاريع الطاقة الشمسية، وأنشطة متعلقة بالمياه والصرف الصحي والنظافة الصحية، سلامة الطرقات، وإدارة مخاطر الكوارث. ومن ضمن هذا المشروع ستقوم بإجراء مناقصة لتلزيم تنظيف قسم من نهر الاسطوان في عكار لمنع حدوث الفيضانات التي تطال عداا من القرى على مجرى النهر.

PS: Interested candidates should note that a mandatory site visit and an information meeting will take place on 10.07.2024 at 10:00 AM - Meeting point to be shared on a later stage by email after the confirmation of receipt of the ITB.
