Social Intervention & Ecological Farming Workshop

Masar, SEAC and Agrimovement are working together on the project "Support to Refugees and Lebanese in Lebanon" with the support of Porticus.

Masar is a Lebanese non-governmental organization that was founded in 2005 with the aim to contribute to local and national development processes and the advancement of society. Masar works in holistic development with an equal focus on community and policy levels, thus constantly promoting development, policy change, and good governance. 

SEAC & Agrimovement envision the fulfillment of economic, social, and cultural rights of all segments and components of society in Lebanon through innovative bottom-up approaches to socio-economic empowerment.

Workshop Objectives:

To educate youth about the importance of sustainable agriculture, its techniques, and its role in addressing social, environmental, and economic challenges.

To develop youth leadership skills and equip them to lead social intervention initiatives in their communities.

Leadership development and project management skills and cooperative work basis

Networking opportunities with experts and peers

Benefits of Participation:

Certificate of participation

Training in sustainable agriculture techniques

Possibility to work on actual programs and/or projects

Eligibility Criteria:

Youth between the ages of 18 and 35

Attend an interview with the selection committee after receiving an email of acceptance

Committed to attend the entire workshop (10 days) extending between the month of August 2024 and the month of September 2024

All nationalities are welcomed
