Gender Mainstreaming Consultancy VRPs

Expertise France is seeking the services of a consultant to build the capacities of its local partners under Shabake 2 on Gender Mainstreaming, its integration into the current Lebanese context covering general definitions and terminologies on Gender, Gender Mainstream and Development, tools, best practices, and Gender Mainstream action plans.

Consultant:

The consultant will oversee designing and delivering the following:

1. Conducting the required inception meetings with the Expertise France team.
2. Participating in coordination and follow-up meetings related to this activity when needed.
3. Strictly stick to the agreed timeline.
4. Submitting all the training materials and deliverables (agendas, activity sheets, presentation, pre and post-tests, feedback forms and training reports.

Expertise France:

Expertise France will contract the consultant and through the Shabake 2 Project Management team will be responsible for the overall management of the consultant including:

• Developing and finalizing the terms of reference and contract.
• Reviewing and approving all expected deliverables with the consultant.
• Supporting the consultant in connecting and meeting with project team members as relevant.
• Overall monitoring of the assignment activities and the delivery of milestones.

• Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Law, Human Rights, Humanitarian Development, or any related field.  
• Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience related to Gender Equality and Inclusivity, Gender Mainstreaming; and designing and delivering training.
• Proven experience and knowledge in the field of the Lebanese Humanitarian and development ecosystem.
• Demonstrated knowledge of gender perspectives withing the Lebanese context.
• Proven communication, facilitation, presentation and writing skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to last minute changes and stick to tight deadlines.
