Description:
SHAHD association is looking for an experienced and motivated Web Development Trainer to be responsible for preparing and delivering web development workshops in Wavel camp and nearby gatherings. The trainer will also be responsible for reporting on the technical and interpersonal advancement of participants.

JOB SUMMARY
The Youth Assistant Coordinator will support outreach to adolescents and youth to provide them with suitable capacity building interventions. He/she will also deliver basic Digital Literacy Trainings in addition to other youth empowerment workshops.
MAIN DUTIES
Activity Coordination
- Contribute to the development of center’s activities in coordination with SHAHD team.
- Outreach to adolescents and youth and encourage them to participate in the center’s activities.
- Support the implementation of Youth Program activities including workshops, small business support and youth-led initiatives.
- Support the development of Youth Volunteers at the Center.
- Support the implementation of awareness raising sessions and campaigns
- Coordinate and support the referral of Psycho-Social Support Program Components, in coordination with the PSS team when required.
Training
- Support and deliver employability, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and Life Skills training workshops following a preset curriculum.
- Support the trainers and youth during the implementation of TVET workshops, and Technology Training.
- Deliver awareness raising sessions and lead awareness raising campaigns.
Administration
- Support administrative work related to the center including the development of action plans, reporting (monthly and quarterly), and others.
- Support the logistics related to the center including required maintenance and office supplies and others.
- Facilitate the implementation of project related training workshops for staff and volunteers
- Support project internal monitoring and evaluation processes
- Participate in project meetings and UN coordination meetings/working groups at field level and provide regular feedback
- Represents SHAHD in related events
Performs other job-related tasks as requested by supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Technology, Information Management, Management Information Systems, Sociology, Education Fields.
- At least two years of experience working in youth development, or in an educational setting related to Youth Programmes (life skills, entrepreneurship skills and employability skills.).
- Creativity and initiative to independently lead projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to lead workshops for groups of youth and caregivers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable conducting outreaching activities within the camp and neighboring areas.
- Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Cultural sensitivity/excellent cross cultural communication skills.
- English proficiency is a must.
Interpersonal
- Coaching and mentorship skills.
- Team player with the ability to deliver information to different age groups.
- Able to work under pressure.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- The incumbent is required to work 6 days a week
- Type of Contract: Full-time
- Contract Period: 7 months (extendable)
Salary: 500 USD/month
