Job Procedures:
- Shortlisted Candidates will be invited for a Technical Test (60% of total Grade) & interview (40% of total grade) conducted in English
- Priority will be given to fully qualify registered Palestinian refugees’ candidates residing in Beddawi camp and its surroundings.
- Only the top 05 Candidates ranks in the technical test will be invited for the interview.
General Information about Venture Association: Venture Association/Al Qadisyeh in Beddawi Camp announces the need for a Learning Support Teacher. To work within the project:
“Strengthening access to quality and inclusive education services for the vulnerable boys and girls of the Palestinian refugee communities in Lebanon”- The project is implemented in partnership with TDH-ITALY - Funded by UNICEF.
- Job Title: Learning Support Teacher
- Duty Station/Location: Beddawi Camp
- Working Days: 5 days a week
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care.
- Responsible for submitting daily timesheet to the line manager.
- Assigning the needs of students and using knowledge and specialized skills to support students’ learning;
- Working with selected students, on individual and small group basis, in learning support interventions specifically designed to support their needs; and the basic skills in Arabic, English and Math.
- Providing objective and accurate feedback and reports as required on students’ achievement, progress and other matters.
- Controlling and maintaining the equipment and contents available in the center.
- Keeping an ongoing positive communication with the parents.
- Undertaking any other duties, as may be required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience working in Active and Inclusive Learning support.
- Bachelor’s degree of one of educational majors (Arabic, English, Mathematics, Sciences)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic languages.
- Experience in computer skills "computer programs", experience in social networking sites and creating educational videos.
Personal Skills:
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver information to different age groups.
- Excellent team player.
- Able to work under stress.
- Enthusiastic and looks for continuous self-development.
- Planning and organizing skills
