For every child, support 

Under the guidance of Chief Palestinian Programme in Lebanon (PPL), provide professional technical assistance and support for PPL design, planning and implementation, management and evaluation of PPL activities, data analysis and progress reporting, in support of achievement of PPL goals and objectives.

How can you make a difference?

Within the delegated authority and under the given organizational set-up, the incumbent may be assigned the primarily, shared, or contributory accountabilities for all or part of the following areas of major duties and key end-results.

  • Knowledge Management for PPLs
  • PPL Development and Management
  • Optimum Use Of PPL Funds
  • PPL Monitoring and Evaluations
  • Rights-Based and Results-Based PPL Management Approach
  • National and Local Capacity Building/Sustainability
  • Rights Perspective and Advocacy at the National, Community and Family Levels
  • Partnership, Coordination and Collaboration.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

The following minimum requirements:

Education: University degree in Social Service, International Relations, Government, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or other relevant disciplines, with specialized training in conflict resolution and National SoP.

Work Experience :A minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience in the Palestinian camps and gatherings in Lebanon is required, including professional experience in social development planning and management in child protection and GBV related areas.

 Skills:  Practical experience in the field is considered as an asset. Experience in emergency planning and response is considered as an asset.

Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic  is required.

The following desirables:

  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency.
  • Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish).

Should you be selected for a position with UNICEF, you either must be inoculated as required or receive a medical exemption from the relevant department of the UN. Otherwise, the selection will be canceled.
