Invitation for (EOI) for Supplying Laboratory Equipment within Aida-Funded Project "EOI-20241005-LE"

Safadi Foundation is implementing a new project aimed at enhancing agricultural production sustainably, with a focus on achieving economic autonomy and food security for rural producers, particularly women. The project tackles challenges such as livelihood disruption and resource constraints by advocating sustainable practices and bolstering climate resilience. Rooted in a comprehensive diagnosis involving stakeholders, the initiative directly benefits 1,275 individuals, including cooperatives like the 'Cooperative Association for Development and Manufacturing Agricultural Products in Akkar and El Dannieh,' while also indirectly benefiting families and the wider community. Anticipated outcomes encompass improved production, the establishment of a baby food plant catering to vulnerable women, the promotion of sustainable practices, and the implementation of a gender-sensitive monitoring system. The project enjoys endorsement from local authorities, cooperatives, and the Ministry of Agriculture, ensuring viability through strategic partnerships, expertise, and alignment with policies, all aimed at elevating living standards in the intervened regions.
