The Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development is a Lebanese non-governmental organization with special consultative status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Tha Hariri Foundation is dedicated to sustainable development across various sectors, including Education & Training, Public Health, Community Support, Urban Development, and Environment & Agriculture. HF operates in partnership with stakeholders to promote citizen engagement, social cohesion, and community resilience.

Position Overview

The Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development is seeking a dynamic and skilled Research & Communications Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of excellent marketing and social media skills, coupled with a strong background in research and presentation. This role is crucial for effectively communicating the Foundation's activity and research findings to diverse audiences both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Social Media

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to enhance the visibility of the Hariri Foundation.
• Develop appealing graphic materials and presentations in line with communication strategies.
• Manage and curate content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Create engaging and informative visual (static/video) and written content for various communication channels.
• Monitor social media trends, track analytics, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Research and Presentation

• Conduct thorough applied and scientific research on relevant topics and in sustainable development.
• Prepare compelling presentations and reports based on research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Research & Development office to align communication strategies with research outcomes.

Collaboration

• Coordinate and support the management of events and activities to promote the Foundation's objectives.
• Collaborate with external agencies, designers, and media partners as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in scientific or applied research on sustainable development.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, social media management, and presentation roles.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Both Arabic and English).
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in social media management and content creation (video/design).
• Advanced presentation and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with sustainable development topics and frameworks is desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Innovative and creative thinking to develop impactful communication materials.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
