About Basmeh & Zeitooneh:
Basmeh & Zeitooneh is a registered Lebanese organization, committed to serving refugees and vulnerable communities in Lebanon, through four community centers across the country. The organization runs educational, relief, livelihoods, and protection programs, and aims to serve as an inclusive and supportive focal point for the entire community.

About the project:
Basmeh & Zeitooneh is seeking to train and support CSOs, to share their experience and expertise with the participants. To reach this aim, we are currently looking for trainers to facilitate and contribute to the organization of online training and workshops for the Civil Society Enablement projects.
The projects aim to develop and empower civil society actors by providing professional training and coaching through an in-depth analysis of the needs of civil society organizations and the continuous follow-up of these organizations during the training period.
The main topics of the training include the following:
- Fundraising and proposal writing at two proficiency levels: Essential (Click HERE for the ToR) and Advanced (Click HERE for the ToR).
- Finance training offered at two levels: Essential (Click HERE for the ToR) and Advanced (Click HERE for the ToR).
- Wash training (Click HERE for the ToR)
- MEAL training at two proficiency levels: Essential and Advanced (Clich HERE for the ToR).
- Advocacy Training (Click HERE for the ToR)
- Project Management at two proficiency levels: Essential and Advanced (Click HERE for the ToR).
- Safeguarding Training (Click HERE for the ToR)
- Safety and Security training (Click HERE for the ToR)
- HR Training (Click HERE for the ToR)
Each subject consists of a 3-5 day training period, and trainers may specialize in one or more topics. They will collaborate with the Basmeh and Zeitooneh team to:
- Develop training materials, including curricula, presentations, and any relevant documents.
- Conduct and facilitate the training sessions.
- Lead and Facilitate peer to peer coaching sessions as per participants needs.
- Compile a report outlining the key lessons imparted during the sessions.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience, whether in the private, public or in a civil society organization.
- Previous experience in the development sectors ,especially start-up and small community-based organizations.
- Proven experience as a trainer, previous experience in business training is a plus
- Working experience in a multicultural context
Skills:
- Proficiency in Arabic language (oral / written) mandatory
- Ability to communicate in English
- Good ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Adapted to multinational teams
- Ability to multitask
