Call for Freelancers, Trainers, and Professionals in the Digital Field in Lebanon.
About Freelance Academy:
the Freelance Academy is a comprehensive training program that equips digital-savvy youth between the age of 18 and 34 having a digital skills background (graphic designers, web developers, web design, videographers, translation, 3D animation…) with the necessary tools to become successful freelancers and obtain gig work in their sector.
The Academy is composed of three complementary tracks: a) The professional track tailored for experienced professionals having relevant portfolios, b) The apprenticeship/junior track tailored for juniors having digital skills but lacking enough professional experience/portfolio, and c) the trainers track, tailored to prepare local trainers to provide more and better quality services and share their experience and expertise in the digital freelancing.
Scope and Eligibility:
All the trainings offered are funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and FREE of charge.
To be eligible, all candidates must be between the ages of 18-34 (25-34 in the case of TOT), located in Lebanon, proficient in English, and are not enrolled in a full-time training or job position.
Format
Professional track: A total of 10 offline sessions (Beirut area) are split into 4 weeks with 5 hours/ session.
Junior track: A total of 10 online sessions (online platform) are split into 4 weeks with 2 hours/ session.
Trainers' track: A total of 8 offline sessions (Beirut area) are split into 4 weeks with 5 hours/ session.

If you are a junior who has knowledge in one of the digital sectors (graphic design, web development, digital marketing, etc...) but lack the experience. This track is designed to help you cement your experience and create a competitive portfolio.
