Scope of work               

ARC (Arabic Reading Challenge):

A significant overhaul of the 10-year-old ARC application is needed, driven by the introduction of new requirements from MEHE. The existing infrastructure is inadequate to cater to these new requirements, thus necessitating the creation of a new application and database. Involvement in analysing the old system and the new requirements is vital for a successful transformation.

Second Shift Attendance:

The main objective is to revise the attendance system for Public (Second Shift) schools. The update encompasses the incorporation of new requirements as specified by MEHE and refining the current attendance module to ensure more efficient tracking of staff and students.

Support to ICT Department on additional technical tasks:

Provide technical support to the MEHE ICT department, specifically for complex Reporting (queries and data analysis). Participate in the development and issuance of required managerial reports and presentations in response to business user needs from various applications.

SIS (School Information System):

The SIS currently serves as an online platform for both Public (across two shifts) and Private schools. Given the development of a new web application for MEHENSL, there is a need to segregate the module meant for Public Schools (First Shift) and create a standalone application with its distinct structure. This task entails analysing the current SIS setup, understanding its modules, and ensuring the new application efficiently tailored to meet the specific requirements of the Public Schools (First Shift).
