Learning Support Teacher

Duty Station:  Borj Al Shamali Camp / Al Sadaka Center

Project:  Strengthening access to quality, inclusive and sustainable education services for the vulnerable boys and girls of the Palestinian refugee community in Lebanon, in partnership with TDH Italy and funded by UNICEF.

Job Profile:

• Teaching students according to their educational needs, abilities, and individual attainment potentials of students who are entrusted to his/her care.
• Responsible for submitting daily timesheet to the line manager.
• Assigning the needs of students and using knowledge and specialized skills to support students’ learning;
• Working with selected students, on individual and small group basis, in learning support interventions specifically designed to support their needs, including basic skills in Arabic, English, Science and Math to support the students from G1 to G6.
• Providing objectives, accurate feedback, and reports on students’ achievement, progress and other updates.
• Controlling and maintaining the equipment and contents available in the center.
• Keeping ongoing positive communication with the parents.
• Undertaking any other duties, as may be required in line with the position.
