Campaign and Production Consultant

Main Objectives and purpose of the contract

To assist in the development of a creative campaign concept and to produce high quality multimedia material including graphics, videos, and other communications assets for Amnesty International in Lebanon.

Responsibilities, Scope of Work, and Tasks

Identify and develop a creative campaign concept and slogan based on Amnesty’s theory of change and campaign strategy. 

Successfully execute and complete various types of communications materials (interactive web page, social media material, short videos, visuals, inforgraphs, podcast, etc)

Generate high-quality designs from concept stage to final delivery and actively contribute to the creative process

Identify marketing opportunities, explore resources, processes, and guidelines for dissemination of the campaign content on online and offline platforms

Provide archive/copy of all the material produced as part of the campaign

Film B-rolls and interviews  and take photos needed for the campaign assets and production

Ensure the use of licensed music or any other audiovisual elements, including voice-over if needed

Communicate closely with the relevant team members and incorporate all comments identified during the editing process

Support in the events that will be organized throughout the campaign as needed (location scouting, logistics, printing, etc)

Provide photography services and live streaming for events if needed

Deliver the agreed material in the context of the Terms of Reference in a timely manner according to a timeline agreed by both parties

Amnesty International will provide the following support to the Consultant:

• Briefing and detailed explanation of campaign and the theory of change behind it;
• Support with identifying the material and outputs needed for the campaign and in the content of the audiovisual material for different purposes;
• The substantive content which the consultant will use to create the multimedia material. However, it is the consultant’s responsibility to develop this content for scripts, visual assets and other promotional items.

A budget for purchased content from Getty if needed All material will be needed in English, Arabic and clean versions, and will also be adapted to different formats for the different social media and web platforms. Amnesty International will provide the translated content.

All material will pass to the exclusive ownership of Amnesty international including all use and distribution rights connected to them.

Amnesty International reserves all rights to the unedited photos and videos. If required, the consultant must deliver all unedited photographs and videos on a hard drive at the end of the assignment period.

The consultant will fully apply Amnesty International brand identity and will ensure that the final output is web-friendly for use on interactive Amnesty websites and social media channels.

Plan of Work / Duration

This assignment is expected to start immediately upon agreement with the applicant (Ideally on the second week of July ^until October 2023); a specific timeline for deliverables will be discussed. Note that efficiency and instant availability is required. We propose at least 3 days to be dedicated to including Amnesty’s input on the draft production and completing the final versions of the outcomes.

Qualifications

At least 5 years proven working experience in production with a demonstrated record of providing high-quality, creative work for clients, especially national campaigns – experience working on regional campaigns is an asset;

Experience capturing images and developing videos for development organizations e.g. NGOs and international organizations is required;

Experience in the development of products related to human rights is an asset.

Language requirements:

Proficiency in Arabic and English is a must.
