Social Media Expert
The consultant should submit a CV, portfolio of previous projects, in addition to a short concept note related to abovementioned intervention with a budget at [email protected].
The detailed workplan will be developed and agreed upon in coordination with FTL team.
- Objective
The global objective of the project is to provide a long-term response to the crisis for food producers in the Bekaa region in order to maintain their production while enhancing the resilience of vulnerable communities, stimulate the local economic growth and promote Bekaa’s culinary heritage.
By increasing numbers of visitors in the region, this project will support Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and contribute to the long-term sustainability of local agriculture and food systems, while promoting social and economic inclusion of vulnerable population in particular youth, women and refugees
- Scope of work
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the project mission and goals, and increases its online visibility and engagement.
Create and curate content for social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others, that is relevant, compelling, and aligned with the project’s messaging and branding.
Manage and monitor social media platforms, including responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers and supporters in a timely and professional manner.
Develop and execute online campaigns to support the project’s advocacy including developing social media ads and tracking their performance.
Analyze social media metrics and generate reports on engagement, reach, and conversion rates, and make recommendations for improving performance.
The consultant will dedicate 14 days of a period of 2 months to develop and implement the intervention with beneficiaries of the project

The following outcomes are what the activity aims to achieve:
- Increase the NGO's social media following.
- Increase engagement on social media channels, including likes, shares, comments, and direct messages
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to support the project advocacy.
- Generate articles on social media channels or online news outlets

- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- At least three years of experience managing social media channels for businesses, organizations, or NGOs.
- Strong understanding of social media marketing principles and best practices, including content creation, community management, and analytics.
- Proven track record of driving engagement and increasing social media following for businesses or organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content for social media channels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of or experience in the NGO sector is preferred.
- Strong experience in working with small businesses, mainly in agro-food and tourism
