WS681287726 - Intent to Bid - Event Planner for Local Business Clusters

As part of the Linked program, Mercy Corps launched Local Business Clusters (LBC), where Linked selected businesses in the same geographical area working in the same sector to form a Cluster. The purpose of the cluster is to increase cooperation, coordination, competitiveness, efficacy, and efficiency between different businesses in working in the same sector. Mercy Corps created 2 clusters, (1) Chemical/Cosmetics Cluster in Beirut/Mount Lebanon, and (2) Dairy Cluster in Bekaa.

After having created the local business clusters, Mercy Corps will launch the cluster to the public in a launching event, where all the businesses will be in one venue, each having their own booth. The businesses will display their products as individual businesses, where the purpose of the event is to showcase the cluster as a whole, and to show their connectedness. Activists from the community, mayors, chamber of commerce, businesses from the sector, NGO/INGO representatives, etc. will be invited to join the event.
