Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of the overall implementation of the project's activities in North-Lebanon, South-Lebanon, and Mount-Lebanon.

MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the role of primary focal point with the donor technical team
• Plan the project activities based on the project timeline
• Ensure that all donor compliance requirements are met
• Oversee project and vetting documentation
• Follow-up and oversee the Field Coordinators within the different project areas
• Coordinate with support administrative departments where needed
• Ensure the successful implementation of project milestones, and submit related deliverables in due time
• Coordinate with local authorities, and project beneficiaries
• Be responsible for the planning and conducting of any additional outreach sessions
• Be responsible to manage the project’s cash for work activities
• Issue payment orders for cash for workers
• Produce qualitative reports as per donor reporting guidelines

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least 7 years of experience in livelihood activities within the agriculture sector
• At least 5 years of experience within the NGO sector
• Strong knowledge of USAID policies and procedures
• Strong knowledge of the development and humanitarian context in Lebanon
• Strong knowledge of agriculture profile within the targeted areas
• Proven project management experience
