  • Managing Makassed’s brand and reputation;
  • Ensuring public views the organization favorably;
  • Creating and launching and marketing campaigns;
  • Contacting members of the media to set up interviews with company reps;
  • Driving corporate strategy and message development, pitch and announcement strategies;
  • Developing branding initiatives, internal communications and external media relations;
  • Determining communications strategy and executing programs to deliver communications objectives throughout the organization;
  • Managing media relations and maximizing media opportunities;
  • Developing strong relationships with media reps.
  • Developing delivery and packaging plans for corporate messages;
  • Developing internal publications such as newsletters, releases, email announcements, planned publications, on-line, intranet, video, special projects and assignments;
  • Creating rich and creative content that is optimized for search engines.
