: Project Urban Planner (Roster all areas), F

(A) Conduct stakeholder mapping and assessment, spatial data collection;

(B) Prepare and facilitate community engagement events and activities related to the Camp Improvement Plan (CIP);

(C) Conduct cross-sectoral spatial analysis and key trend identification.

(D) Identification of short-, medium- and long-term priorities of the camp residents based on the physical and socio-economic assessment, and assist in developing camp improvement proposals for fund raising;

(E) Develop a strategic vision and action plan for the targeted camp;

(F) undertake the preparation of the Camp Improvement Plan document;

(G) Develop technical conclusions and strategic spatial recommendations and validate them with community representatives and partners;

(H) Finalize and disseminate of the CIP to key community focal points

(I) Formulation of pre-feasibility studies and Camp Improvement Plans to improve the urban and built environment of the camp addressing the refugee needs in an integrated, participatory and developmental approach; in line with the strategies and policies of the Camp Improvement Unit;

(J) Implement camp improvement initiatives in line with UNRWA's strategies, policies and guidelines, while involving the community in the planning process to improve physical and socio-economic well-being of refugees;

(K) Supervise physical and socio-economic assessments of shelters and living conditions in the camp for the compilation of detailed data-bases:

(L) Develop a participatory Management Structure and maintain coordination with Field Departments concerned, camp community and other stakeholders to ensure the implementation of an integrated planning process and implementation of a community driven participatory approach;

(M) Supervise the preparations for a training and capacity building plans for all staff concerned with the Camp Improvement Program including housing/shelter at the Field and Camp level;

(N) Coordinate the participatory design processes; Coordinates the production of detailed designs, drawings, BOQs, and tender documents providing quality control and guidance;

(0) Contribute to writing project proposals by UNRWA; helps the community in writing project proposals;

(P) Establish a work plan for the implementation of the Camp Improvement Plans:

(Q) Supervise of the preparation of detailed project documents for the implementation of pilot interventions;

(R): Supporting the process design of the Shelter Rehabilitation Project in all phases through:

1. evaluating and upgrading eligibility criteria, upgrading methodology of scoring shelter visits,

2. integrating the participatory planning component into the process,

3. Revisiting design process for eligible shelters and supervising architectural documentation;

4. Compiling a document of lessons learned starting from previous similar project in Rashidieh and Beddawi camps.

(S): Building and preparing needed steps and documents for a partnership strategy with local committees and communication strategy with community

(T): Carrying out induction, training sessions and regular follow-up for site office staff on communication strategy, team-building values and general participatory mindset. (U) Performs such other duties as may be assigned
