Finance and procurement officer
1- Data entry of daily transactions on the accounting software
2- Review expenses supporting documents eligibility (Invoices, Contracts, Payments, Receipts, etc.)
3- Prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliations
4- Maintain proper filling for the account entries
5- Manage the implementation of the procurement process
6- Collect quotations, bids and ability to implement bid analysis
7- Manage the office’s logistical needs
8- Prepare a tracking system for asset management, procurement, and financial procedures
9- Reconcile and monitor cash and bank balances to ensure sufficient funds are always available depending on the program needs
10- Comply with deadlines and reporting dates
11- Assist in implementing all necessary organizational policies and accounting practices
12- Contribute to improving the finance and administrative policies and procedures
13- Maintain a documented system of financial /accounting policies and procedures.
14- Other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a recognized university
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
Previous work experience with an international NGO is a plus
Very strong organizational skills
Knowledge in procurement is a plus
Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
Fluency both in written and oral English and Arabic
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral, cross-cultural)
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
