Grants Writer
A bachelor’s in a relevant field.
2 -3 years of experience in working with local Governing bodies and communities or in an NGO.
Knowledge of the Lebanese context and development processes and institutions.
Knowledge in the environmental and development sector.
Knowledge of donors and agencies such as USAID, EU, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team player, able to work under minimal supervision.
Very good writing skills.
Great organizational skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Fluency in English. French and Arabic are assets.
The Grants Writer will have to :
Screen and identify funding opportunities for We Are Lebanon's NGO according to their needs.
Review, analyze, and prepare standardized summary brief of the identified calls for projects.
Draft application forms, concept notes and projects’ proposals following funding agencies’ guidelines.
Develop and maintain calendar of proposal and reporting deadline dates to ensure all submissions and reporting dates are met on time.
Report information on funding opportunities to the management in a timely manner.
Determine a concept for proposals by attending meetings and identifying opportunities.
Prepare and develop coherent, organized and compelling grant proposals and assessments.
Apply knowledge of fundraising methods and plans to reach income goals.
