Working with local, regional, and international partners, we provide programs and services that improve educational opportunity and quality, expand access to U.S. study, empower youth and women, strengthen local institutions, and develop language and professional skills for success in the global economy. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Amideast operates offices in 11 countries in the MENA region. Amideast has been operating in Lebanon since the 1950’s. It provides different testing, training and scholarships to youth and professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing, Promotion and Communication
• Design and develop marketing plan(s) in collaboration with the different departments and programs at Amideast/Lebanon
• Oversee marketing and promotional efforts in coordination with the different departments.
• Develop and implement media strategy and activities to showcase Amideast’s work in Lebanon through diverse media platforms and channels such as but not limited to TV, newspapers, other
• Coordinate the production and distribution of promotional material (flyers, posters, adds, pamphlets, holiday greetings, etc.) including design, branding, editing, printing, distribution, etc.

Marketing Research and Sales
• Lead on sales and marketing of services (training, testing, scholarships, etc.) for the different programs and departments
• Report on marketing status of these services and identify potential gaps and possible areas for expansion
• Conduct market research on competitors services, prices, programs, and products within the education, training and testing sector in Lebanon and the MENA region
• Assist in reviewing and updating all print and digital materials to ensure compliance with branding guidelines
• Brainstorm on the content for new campaigns and discuss with managers and designers on the implementation of these campaigns
• Attend workshops and events to solicit success stories and provide coverage of those events

Social Media Marketing and Communication
• Lead on the use of communication tools effectively and efficiently across all departments
• Align the print and digital promotional material,
• Work with managers to ensure that all multimedia outputs (such as bulletin boards, posters, photo collection, displays, presentations, and others) are up to date and in alignment with marketing, promotional, and branding requirement.
• Ensure, in coordination with the social media marketing specialist, that all graphic and video content on the digital platforms is up to date
• Prepare and submit to management period reports on activity, analytics, and engagement in, collaboration with the social media marketing specialist

Marketing and Alumni Relations
• Establish and maintain relations with diverse program alumni to keep them engaged in our work and initiatives
• Maintain up-to-date alumni databases
• Maintain continuous communication with alumni and organize, in collaboration with each of the departments engaging community activities
• Draft and collect testimonials, pictures, and success stories on all program beneficiaries and alumni
• Monitor member’s activity across platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blog, and program specific applications (Fulbright, EducationUSA, Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program (Yes), Amideast, other)

Marketing and Customer Service
• Obtain and evaluate all relevant information provided by customers and clients on services and can be used for marketing purposes.
• Record details of customer interactions and transactions inquiries, comments, complaints, and actions taken.
• Compile and update data related to areas of Amideast’s activity

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required
• A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS in business, marketing, sales, advertising, communication, business administration, social media or other business-related field)
• 3-4 years of experience in marketing, sales, communication, social media, public relations, alumni relations, other.
• Familiar with social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Hootsuite or Sprout Social etc.)
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Proven writing and editing skills with the ability to convey ideas in a creative and clear style
• Fluency in Arabic and excellent English speaking and writing
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• High level of attention to details
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Must possess problem-solving skills
• Organization skills and manage time efficiently
• Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
• Lebanon National /Legal Resident- legally able to work in Lebanon.
