POSITION DESCRIPTION
The incumbent is one of the points of contact on Amideast projects related to digital media and communication projects. The project coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of all project activities under the supervision of the Regional Training Programs Expert. The project specialist is responsible for all aspects of the project daily management, including logistics, administration, security community and liaison with beneficiaries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Coordination

• Responsible for all aspects of project daily management, including logistics, administration and liaison with beneficiaries, donors, and stakeholders
• Regularly review and update of the project workplan and implement project activities
• Implement and support in the management of all relevant aspects of the project including outreach, partner engagement, recruitment, selection, planning, etc.
• Implement project timelines, deadlines, and compliance requirements in collaboration with other Amideast staff
• Identify, facilitate, and coordinate training delivered to participants

Advertising, Promotion and Communication

• Implement and support program advertising and dissemination plan to attract optimal candidates to take part in the project activities
• Manage project related communication and answer all queries and troubleshoot challenges
• Work with the marketing staff at Amideast to ensure the promotion of the project activities for increased outreach and participation
• Coordinate with the marketing staff at Amideast to post project ads, achievements, content, stories, etc. on Amideast social media accounts

Reporting

• Collect and report data related to the progress of beneficiaries
• Maintain regular written and oral reporting with the Regional Training Programs Expert
• Develop and maintain project records such as monthly reports, attendance sheets, success stories, database, and records of decisions
• Regularly report to direct supervisor about any difficulty met in activity implementation
• Submit daily updates, weekly and monthly reports to supervisor on targets achieved and progress of project activities as agreed-upon in the detailed work plans.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Ensure the project remains on track to achieve workplan, goals, objectives, and outputs
• Conduct regular monitoring of field activities and visits to ensure the successful implementation activities
• Responsible for tracking outputs, deliverables, and reporting on KPIs as agreed upon in the project workplan

Logistics, Finance and Administration

• Coordinate with Amideast administration, finance, and logistic department to ensure that the needed means and tools are available for running the project
• Respect and follow-up on donor policies, procedures, reporting requirements, templates, procurement and other
• Ensure regular follow-up on the project budget and expenditure
• Take on additional duties and responsibilities, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required
• A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS in business, social sciences, communication, media, social sciences or other related fields)
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in coordinating development project with local NGOs and/or INGOs
• Working knowledge of finance, M&E, social media and other
• Computer literate in MS Office
• Proven English & Arabic Language writing and editing skills
• High sense of attention to details and has the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Must possess organization, problem-solving skills and manage time efficiently
• Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
• Approachable and professional
• Applicant must be based in Lebanon and can legally work in Lebanon
