Call for Proposal - Development of public sensitization awareness on mental health and for migrant domestic workers and training for migrant and refugee Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working with domestic workers
This Request for Proposal falls under the project entitled ‘Supporting Beirut’s Immediate Social Recovery Services” funded by the World Bank. All activities carried out by the IRC partners under this project are fully funded by the Bank.
The IRC aims to establish one partnership with one LNGO through an open competitive selection process, in Beirut and Mount Lebanon areas. Therefore, this partnership aims to achieve the following outcomes:
- Develop public sensitization awareness on mental health (Focusing on National Lifeline and Step-by-Step) in partnership with the National Mental Health Program (NMHP) at the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). This service is accessible to all residents of Lebanon. Expected deliverables:
- Sub-grantee is developing sensitization and awareness materials in different formats on Mental Health (MH), reported through narrative reports.
- Sub-grantee is disseminating the sensitization and awareness materials on a national level, reported through a narrative report.
- Sub-grantee is conducting Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) surveys to measure the impact of the public sensitization activities on the awareness of the public, reported through a narrative report.
Target: 2 public sensitization awareness campaign modules on mental health supported by the project will be implemented.
Indicator: Respondent awareness of available services as a result of public sensitization campaigns is increased by 50%.
2. Adapt the public MH sensitization awareness campaigns for migrant domestic workers. Expected deliverables:
- Sub-grantee is translating the developed sensitization and awareness materials to different migrant domestic workers’ main languages, reported through a narrative report.
- Sub-grantee is disseminating the sensitization and awareness materials on a national level, reported through a narrative report.
3. Train migrant and refugee CSOs working with domestic workers . Expected deliverables:
- Sub-grantee is developing the training including all the training materials, reported through a narrative report.
- Sub-grantee is delivering the training to migrant and refugee CSOs working with domestic worker, reported through training narrative reports.
