Communication and social media officer

Her/ His tasks include:  

• Overseeing the social media communication, including managing the Instagram account and going live, providing teasers for online presentation of the films, preparing posts and tweets
• Overseeing the website communication, feeding the website with all accurate information about the current festival’s edition
• Contacting media to publish articles before the festival and during the festival (interviews and articles about the films, with the directors etc)
• Keeping track of media requests and media publishing
• Being available during the 6 week-ends of the film festival in September (15-18 September; 23-24 September) and 7-8; 14-15; 21-22 October and to accompany the film festival in the different locations in Lebanon where it will take place (Beirut, Hammana, Saida, Tripoli, and Bekaa).

The candidate has to have:

• background in film industry
• background in social media communication
• excellent English level (written)
• and very good level in Arabic
