Proud Lebanon is looking for a contractual dramatherapist.
The trainer should use techniques of improvisation, role playing, puppets and other drama techniques; he should help the individuals to go through an active form of creative therapy that helps gain or regain self-confidence and find new ways of problem-solving skills.
his/her work should focus on releasing the daily tensions that the participants bring with them to the sessions, as well as processing their personal stories and experiences from the past.
With the support of the trainer, the groups should develop a play.

Conditions of service and Management

• The duration of the contract is the project.
• The contractor will report to Proud Lebanon’s Director. 
• The contractor will work on a curriculum for the sessions to be delivered based on the project’s plan.
• Contractor should maintain a training report and comply with all other Proud Lebanon’s regulations such as checklists and invoices. Proud Lebanon’s management retains the right to suspend payment on non-compliance of terms or in the event of poor-quality work. These decisions will not be taken arbitrarily but in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
• Contractor should abide by all Proud Lebanon’s internal regulations including the code of conduct, PSEA, Speak UP among others. 

Remuneration:

Installments will be paid by the end of each month after submission of the report.

As a dramatherapist, you'll create channels of communication through theater, story-telling and performance arts. Working a group of 30 individuals splitted into 2 groups of 15 members each. You'll use a range of interventions, including stories, puppetry, masks, role play, drama and movement, to allow them to explore their experiences and express themselves in a way that might be easier than directly talking about it.

Working hour:

48 training sessions split over 9 months, will be delivered throughout the project duration (once every other week), 24 sessions per group, each session should last 2 hours.

Required skills :

• Bachelor Degree in Psychology.
• Proven training in Art and Drama therapy.
• Experience in working with NGOs.
• Ability to work in collaboration with the team.
• Adherence to Proud Lebanon’s values and 
• Capacity to work under pressure and manage personal stress levels.
• Ability to prioritize clearly and oversee multiple tasks.
• Arabic native speaker and very good proficiency in English, written and oral.
