Outreach Officer

The Outreach Officer will be based in project implementation site (Hermel-Qaa-Arsal-Laboueh)

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, the Outreach Officer will perform the following duties:

• Reach out to host communities and Syrian refugees’ in the field of project implementation sites & surroundings;
• Reach out to associations, local authorities, communities representative and institutions in in the field of project implementation sites & surroundings to coordinate field activities;
• Outreach and register beneficiaries to participate in the project(s)’activities;
• Conduct interviews for data collection and outreach;
• Conduct field visits to understand the individual’s situation and community needs assessment;
• Promote and ensure beneficiaries’ attendance to the sessions/trainings held;
• Identify challenges and limitations and suggest lessons learned and best practices at the areas of implementations;
• Ensure proper coordination with local authorities and community leaders;
• With the support of Agriculture Engineers and Program Manager, implement activities and training sessions;
• With the support of Agriculture Engineers and Program Manager, implement community engagements in projects activities and events;
• Conduct and facilitate working groups with youth, farmers, women, people with disability and other vulnerable groups;
• Accompany beneficiaries during activities;
• Refer cases to the Psychosocial Counselor and Conflict Resolution specialist for counseling and assistance if and when needed;
• Responsible for the visibility of RET Liban and Donor;
• Monitor all field activities progress on the field of project implementation sites & surroundings;
• Data Entry, weekly field reporting (with daily notes)

In addition, like all RET Staff

• Comply with internal policies, ensuring that activities and their performance comply with what is established in RET's Code of Conduct and other Manuals;
• Work as a team to achieve RET’s goals;
• Manage in a transparent way RET’s resources, fulfilling effectively and efficiently the tasks entrusted;
• Propose, constructively, alternative solutions to problems that arise in the work area and sector.
