ROLE PURPOSE

The enumerator will support the Child Protection program in conducting Post Activity and Post Distribution Monitoring of project activities. Enumerator will be receiving appropriate trainings, and will be responsible to complete questionnaires with a random sample of project beneficiaries, collecting feedback on the quality and impact of activities. 

 

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

The enumerator will report directly to the Child Protection Coordinator and will have regular coordination with MERL Coordinator.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

•    Participate in relevant trainings on safeguarding, gender, safe identification and referral, ethical considerations, remote data collection, and relevant tools to be used.  
•    Carry out the remote Post Distribution/ Post Activity Monitoring questionnaire with a random sample of project beneficiaries. 
•    Ensure complete and thorough data collection and data entry, as per guidance received from MERL Coordinator.
•    Report on a daily basis to the line manager on the number of surveys completed.
•    Report on any cases of concern that require individual follow up.
•    Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of data collected and information shared by project beneficiaries.
•    Coordinate with M&E colleagues on specific technical needs to ensure smooth roll out of post activity and distribution monitoring.
•    Other related duties requested from the supervisor.

•    Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.

 

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Essential

-    Knowledge in sensitive topics and social trends on Child Protection & Education
-    Proven experience in data collection and communicating with vulnerable target groups and children.

Experience:

-    2-3 years of relevant experience with NGOs, public agencies or any other related field. 
-    Experience in conducting surveys and assessments
-    Experience in data entry

Degree:

-    University student, Bachelor’s degree is a plus

Skills

-    Good in written and spoken English & Arabic language
-    Confident and proficient in the use of MS Office, especially Excel and Word
-    Flexibility in terms of working hours and working locations 
-    Good communication and interpersonal skills
