The stigmatisation of health workers and COVID patients

Amel Association International and Lebanon Support are pleased to open another group discussion within the framework of the Right to Health.

The current public health crisis requires all of us in Lebanon to analyse how we can provide a better response to COVID-19.

In the face of a pandemic, there is one challenge that we would like to focus our current discussion on: the stigmatisation of health workers and COVID patients.

To kick-start the discussions, below are some guiding questions:

    How is stigma experienced and mitigated by health workers ?

    How can affected communities to respond to the stigma ?

    How can we better support health workers in the face of stigmatisation?
