Part Time Psychologist

SEED is a non-profit nongovernmental organization working in Tripoli to support the education sector since 2016.

We are looking for a experienced psychologists :

Work description:

Evaluation of psychosocial and mental health needs of children, parents and caregivers who were referred or by themselves sought the psychologist

Coordinates the creation of an intervention plan with Social worker and Manager of child education  in order to provide assistance to children and families coping with psychological difficulties

Provides therapeutic  support for children, families and care-givers through individual or group sessions

Identifies cases requiring psychiatric  help or other special assistance e.g. in cases of domestic violence or gender based violence

Assists with other relevant activities which Manager of child education may identify

Required educational level, qualification and skills:

Graduate of higher education (e.g. master) from psychology or other relevant degrees

At least 3 years of experience as a psychologist working with children from vulnerable communities

Fluency in Arabic and English as an asset.

Excellent communication (also within project team), observation and analytical skills

Being able to work individually and professionally

Being able to adapt to cultural context and follow the vision, values and principles of SEED and People in Need Slovakia
