Advocacy Officer
Despite substantial progress in understanding the global HIV epidemic in recent years, knowledge of the epidemic in this region is relatively limited and is often perceived as a "black hole" for HIV-related data.
It is in this context that Solidarity Sida and ITPC-MENA have initiated, in partnership with 5 associations (AGD - Mauritania, Al Shehab - Egypt, ATP + - Tunisia, M Coalition - Lebanon and RDR Morocco - Morocco), the program "FORSS – Train Follow Support: community mobilization to fight against HIV in the MENA region".
The overall goal of this program is to improve the quality of prevention, HIV / AIDS care and access to treatment in the MENA region and in particular in the target countries. It is organized around three main axes:
- Improve the knowledge and practices of community actors in prevention, care and treatment services to PLHIV and key populations;
- Provide national and regional data on the quality of accessibility to prevention, treatment and care services for PLHIV and key populations;
