In the framework of the Project “Strengthening the resilience and coping capacities of vulnerable rural population in North & East Lebanon” JPII will recruit an Administrator/Accountant that will support the Finance department’s management of accounting systems, policies and procedures in compliance with JPII established accounting standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), donors’ rules and regulations, and legal requirements to support high-quality programs. the candidate will help coordinate daily financial activities through preparation and delivery of financial service.

The Foundation John Paul II is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development and community empowerment. The organization is currently implementing the ROOTS Project AID 012590 02 3 – financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation AICS - aimed at fostering agricultural innovation and enhancing the livelihoods of communities of Akkar, Saida & Tyre governorates, in particular regards for producers of Citrus and Tropical fruits.

Fondazione Giovanni Paolo II is seeking to hire a Procurement & Logistics Officer in the framework of the two projects “Promoting local Economic Development in North East Bekaa” funded by the European Union and “Strengthening the resilience and coping capacities of vulnerable population of North East Lebanon” funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development Cooperation.
Implementation of JPII procurement procedures including national and international tendering. Other tasks requested are relating to offer support in ensuring the effective functioning of the logistics aspects

John Paul II Foundation is recruiting a Project Manager for a short term consultancy contract (3-4 months) to be based in the HQ in Beirut (duty station Beirut, with daily field visits in other locations).

To support the implementation of the Project “Roots” the Giovanni Paolo II Foundation (FGPII) is recruiting an agricultural engineer to:
• Develop and take in charge the Project’s MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) plan;
• Establish an effective data collection system, to measure Project’s achievements towards targets on a regular basis;
• Manage information and reporting
• Strengthen project’s accountability mechanism;
• Evaluate impact of the action
