To support the implementation of the Projects “LED” and “Roots”, FGPII is recruiting TWO AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERS, to be assigned, respectively, one to its office in the Bekaa (Nabi Osmane) and the other to its office for North Lebanon/lower Akkar (location not yet defined).

To support the implementation of the Project “Roots” the John Paul II Foundation is recruiting an agricultural engineer to:
• Implement technical training to improve farmers and cooperative management skills on best farming practices on fruits and vegetables, with particular focus on citrus and tropical fruits;
• Provide continuous technical assistance to producers and cooperatives to improve production (both, qualitative and quantitative), post-harvesting and processing;
• Contribute to the support activities aimed at improving the business skills of producers and cooperatives as per proje

To support the implementation of the Project “Roots” the FGPII is recruiting an agricultural engineer to:
• Implement technical training to improve farmers and cooperative management skills on best farming practices on fruits and vegetables, with a particular focus on citrus and tropical fruits;

To support the implementation of the Project “Roots” the Giovanni Paolo II Foundation (FGPII) is recruiting an agricultural engineer to:
• Develop and take in charge the Project’s MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) plan;
• Establish an effective data collection system, to measure Project’s achievements towards targets on a regular basis;
• Manage information and reporting
• Strengthen project’s accountability mechanism;
• Evaluate impact of the action

Project Activities will be in governorates South, North and Akkar.

Fondazione Giovanni Paolo II (JPIIF) intends to launch a call for consultancies for a Food Processing specialist (FPS) in order to support agricultural-food processing cooperatives and informal groups of producers in the framework of the project “Promoting local Economic Development in North East Bekaa” funded by the European Union, implemented by a consortia of International and local organizations (WeWorld-GVC, JPIIF and NAWAYA NETWORK).
