Communication Intern

Our organization embraces young enthusiasts who are concerned and interested in altering the current community perception of Disability and are eager to do their bit for the betterment of our community. Today, disability faces a threat of isolation and injustice due to discriminatory eyes and judging attitudes of our community. The current situation grows worse by the minute and needs a responsive action plan to mitigate its consequences, develop preventive methods, raise awareness and enhance the status quo of the disabled.
Youth of Unity is Launching its first Project "I am able " and looking for a communication officer who believe that people with disability are not only valuable members of community but who are individuals who should be provided with opportunities to fully contribute to our society.

Supporting in story writing about Youth of Unity programs and activities in Lebanon including taking photos and writing content
Assisting in the development of Youth of unity public communications materials within the context of established guidelines and in response to the needs of the Lebanon and headquarters offices.
maintaining lists of media and other Lebanon-based contacts
Ensuring compliance with the external communications guidelines for Youth of Unity
Supporting in social media and public relations strategy that dovetails with Youth Of Unity communications activities
Providing support in developing presentations and editing, branding/layout of any reports going to donors
Completing any other tasks as assigned by communications Officer.
