Union of Relief and Development Associations - URDA - Calls

Whether we intervene in disaster relief or sustainable development actions, we serve both underserved Lebanese citizens as well as Palestinian and Syrian refugee communities to the highest international, professional, and ethical standards.

In June 2012, the Syrian refugee crisis reached its peak in Lebanon. Immediately, thirty humanitarian non-governmental organizations felt the need to coordinate their humanitarian efforts under one strong umbrella, thus paving the way for the Union of Relief and Development Associations to be born.

School in a Bus is an educational program that looks to work within the difficult environment of the refugee camps and revive education for many Syrian refugee children, who were robbed out of their chance to acquire proper education. The project aims to give 128 Syrian children aged 6 – 14 and 24 youth, basic literacy, and numeracy skills in conjunction with Lebanese educational standards and curriculum, in hopes of enabling children to continue into the Lebanese education system, by minimizing the difficulties that they may suffer from during the process of integration.

Urda is looking a minimum of 6 4-wheels drive vehicles to serve all staff around Lebanon ( Bekaa - - - Tripoli - Saida - South ... etc ) that should be minimum model of 2019 . fully insured ( all risk ) with all maintenance services provided by the rental agencies including the brake pads change and oil change periodically .
