Purpose of Assignment and Scope of work:
The aim of the assignment is to provide accurate and updated information on the situation of population in Lebanon through assessments, routine monitoring reports on the implementation of UNICEF-supported humanitarian assistance. UNICEF has committed itself to ensure regular monitoring and reporting on the timely distribution of supplies, verification of partner reports and feedback from beneficiaries on programme effectiveness and relevance.

Purpose and Objectives:
UNICEF is looking for an institutional contractor to support the agency to build an adequate resource of Master Trainers for UNICEF Lebanon from which they, partner organisations and municipalities, can draw on to ensure the sustainable delivery of the: Positive Leadership, Social Cohesion (Positive Team Building); and Positive Employability Modules. This cohort of Master Trainers shall be able to qualify Trainers at UNICEF partners and Teachers in the Education sector in these three Modules in both Arabic and English languages as well as being able to support other UN

This is to inform you that the Education section has published last Friday September 20th the Expression for call of interest (ECOI) for the non-formal education programmes with focus on outreach, integration and inclusion in 2020.

The UNICEF Adolescent and Youth Development programme was designed to focus both on top-down strategies with the government for system strengthening, as well as bottom-up approaches, working with local communities, building local capacity and working directly with adolescent and youth, to build a cadre of a new generation of advocates who can think out-of-the-box and influence their communities.

In Lebanon, UNICEF’s Child Protection Programme supports the government (in particular the Ministry of Social Affairs) and works with partners to ensure that all children and women at risk and survivors of violence, exploitation, and abuse have access to an equitable prevention and response system.

UNICEF LCO is shifting into integrated programming with a focus on a holistic community-based approach that looks at the child and or the adolescent/young person from a mutli-deprivation lens. Since the onset of Syria crisis, UNICEF and its partners are working to reach the most vulnerable, refer them to adequate services and strengthen coordination between programs. Currently convergence of services is not as it should be, partners work in silos per their program, families have been receiving different outreach staff from different programs/sectors, averaging 5 outreach visits per family.

The Long-Term Arrangement is for the provision of a variety of services relating to Branding and Design Services (products, projects, campaigns)
